Anastasia Qarawani

Anastasia Qarawani is a freelance writer and illustrator. She studied English Language and Literature at Arab American University, then pursued her MA degree in Intercultural Communication and Literature. She has been writing stories since early childhood, and she always had a dream of becoming a writer.

In 2012, she wrote and illustrated a children book that won “Al Awda” annual award in Palestine.

Since then, she has illustrated several books. As writer, she tries to touch upon sensitive issues that a child can relate to, which can help him to develop and discover his self-identity.
