Atefe Maleki Joo

Atefe Maleki Joo was born in 1977, Iran, and got her MA in illustration at Tehran Art University. An illustrator whose works have appeared in several exhibitions, she has illustrated several children’s books and also works for a number of children’s magazines.

Maleki Joo has won several national and international awards, including the 16th Noma Concours for Picture Book Illustrations, 2008, and 4th CJ Picture Book, Korea.

She has done illustrating for several animation movies, such as “The Fried Fish” that got accepted in Berlin International Film Festival 2015.
