Dima Masri is a writer, translator, and educator based in Amman. Her debut children’s book is “Omar and the Sounds of the City.”
Biography
Dima Masri has loved stories since childhood. She is now a writer, translator, and researcher working in the fields of education and children’s literature. She studied translation and later earned a master’s degree in education from Harvard University.
Dima lives in Amman, where she enjoys exploring the city and writing. Omar and the Sounds of the City is her first children’s book.
Her work has also been published in Sukoon magazine, ArabLit Quarterly, and the poetry anthology Ask the Night for a Dream.
