Khadidja Belarossi is an Algerian writer specializing in children’s literature. She studied psychology and then creative writing. She serves as the editor of Reihana Publishing House’s page for reviews and recommendations in children’s literature. She has published several stories for children, including Tea Party with the Dragon, Fayrouziya Doesn’t Care, The Gingerbread King (Asala Publishing, Lebanon), Winter of the Green Dragon (Zahra Publishing, UAE), Mr. Sandian’s Alarm Clock (Hazaya Publishing, Kuwait), Lanterns (Riwaya Publishing, Saudi Arabia), and others.
Her works aim to foster imagination and creativity in children while emphasizing human values and cultural diversity. Her project Reihana Tales received the Creative and Critical Writing Horizons Grant for 2024. She is currently working on new projects intended to enrich the Arab children’s literature library with engaging and impactful content, with a special focus on stories that reflect our cultural identity in a contemporary spirit.
