Reem Askari

Reem Askari has loved drawing since she was very young, and she also enjoyed taking on different characters and acting. She studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts and worked in animation.

She now finds herself illustrating children’s stories. Reem Al-Askari received the first prize for illustration for her work in the story “Spring Star” by the author Layla Saya, as part of the Child Literature Development Project Awards in Syria, funded by the Swedish “Anna Lindh Euro-Mediterranean Foundation for Dialogue Between Cultures” in Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Egypt, and Jordan.
