What Month Am I? Parent and Teacher Guide
The child learns the months of the year through a simple rhymed dialogue. The dialogue includes popular proverbs for each month. The raindrop doesn’t know what month she finds herself in, so she asks everyone the same question: “What month am I?” She asks the swallow, the sun, the cat, the ant, the earthworm, and the leaf. Each of them answers with a popular proverb about that month. Finally other drops of rain come down and tell her that the current month is September, and that winter will soon be coming.
