When Mama Returns Parent and Teacher Guide
Sometimes, unexpected circumstances can arise, forcing the mother to be absent from. This can be a turning point in the lives of both the children and the father, as they face the challenge of managing their affairs and handling various responsibilities.
In this story, Teta falls ill, and Mama travels to be with her, leaving Jad, Tala, and Zozo with Baba. The next day, preparations for school begin, with Baba combing Tala’s hair and making the sandwiches. However, Tala complains that Baba hurt her while combing her hair. Jad is not pleased with how Baba makes the sandwiches and Zozo refuses to eat his breakfast and only wants Mama.
They all manage to leave the house and go to their respective work and school. At school, Jad gets into an argument with his friends and returns home angry. He accidently steps on a Fustuk’s tail, which angers Fustuk who reacts by scratching Jad. The next morning, Jad wakes up and realises he has wet the bed, so he refuses to go to school. Baba reassures him that it’s normal and asks him to quickly take a shower and get ready for school.
In the kitchen, Jad and Tala prepare breakfast and are happy that soon Mom will be home again. Tala says that she can’t wait to tell Mama everything while Jad says that he’s not sure he will tell her EVERYTHING.
